Vega System Info

Hello pilots. The Vega system is the first system in the game most high level pilots call this system the NOOB system for the system is mostly tutorial based and can be completed with relative ease if you get stuff done effectively. The Vega system is composed of the following planets: Kalabesh, Lyris, Dante, Phobos, Colossus, Axiom, and Aurora.

Kalabesh is the first planet you and any other Pirates ever will ever see the surface of, it is the beginners planet. At the LZ (Landing Zone) you are greeted by your first E field (Energy Field). To the left and right of the LZ the enemies that are nearby are Mantis Drones Level 01, they are very easy to destroy even with the first ship in the game with the worst tech in the game. Along with the Mantis Drones you may find some Mantis Scouts, the scouts are not very strong but are harder to destroy than the drones because they come equipped with afterburners and will flee the fight and the first time you fight them will be a challenge because they can out run you very easy with the afterburner that you most likely do not have. On Kalabesh there are also some mantis sentinels that if they are high enough levels have a chance of dropping the rare Colonial Lifter blue prints

Dante is a special planet that you do not have normal access to so I advise you to not waste you cryonite exploring the route to Dante until you get to Aurora story missions. Dante is inhabited by the strong Methonoid beings. You will most likely not encounter these enemies until you reach the Draconis system which at this time while you are in Vega is a long way away.

Axiom is the second planet that you will be visiting regarding story missions. This planet like the last has a Energy field at the LZ. On this planet you are introduced to new types of mantis: Mantis Eliminators which are aggressive enemies  that will attack you when you are within range. Mantis Marauders which are aggressive enemies with a advantage against you, they have Ion Shields which protect them from damage while they are in effect, kill these mantis to get blue prints from them and get your own shields if you have a ship that can equip this technology. Axiom harbors the Colonials base which can be found at the center of the map protected by a wall of lava surrounding the base. Mantis sentinels of high enough level have a chance of dropping rare Colonial Jet blue prints.

Colossus is a battle planet that you will not have access to unless there is a scheduled battle. The planet it self will be a great asset to you when you reach Lyris story missions because Lyris does not have its own hanger in orbit so you will have to use another planet's hanger, and Colossus has its own and Lyris orbits Colossus so it will be a good idea to explore the route here when you get a chance it helps a lot in the future, even when you get to Aurora story missions because like Lyris, Aurora does not have its own hanger.

Aurora is the final planet that you need to explore to continue with the story line of the game. The planet is a cold place with out a orbital hanger to call its own. This planet introduces you to multiple new enemies. I personally hate this planet and here is the reason why: Aurora is almost always distant from where you are jumping from, it is almost always far away from Colossus which is your spawn point if you die on Aurora if you have it explored, also it is far away from the star gate. If Aurora is close to the star gate it likely to be far away from Colossus, and vice virsa, if it is close to both of them it is a blessing. This is also the plant where you will start to get the chance to obtain rare Vega System tech for you ships and rare some ship blue prints.

Lyris is a satellite orbiting the planet Colossus. This planet has no orbiting hanger of its own, and can be a difficult planet for the prepared pilot. Lyris at this time you have been given four ships by Nattissa. The Alln * Storm, the Alln * Space Tank, the Alln * Speed Stun, the Alln * Engineer. Each ship has its own strengths and weaknesses. The Storm class is equipped for massive damage capability, in Vega it has unique rocket and aim computer tech, rockets being less accuracy than blasters but with more damage output, and aim computer increasing you hit and critical hit chances. The Tank class which you were introduced to with the armored transport basically is a defensive type of ship, it has the ability to use shields and can taunt enemies to get the enemy to attack them, the tank class ships also come with better armor meaning you will last longer in a fight, plus with the shield you can last even longer. The Shock class ship is a fast class ship that has the ability to shorten the amount of time it takes to cool down any item you use that is on your ship using speed accuator tech, it also can equip stun charge technology which can be used to slow or completely paralyze a enemy, the stun charge slows the enemy ship as well as causing the cool down of there items to lengthen, speed accuator tech can also be used on clan mates/allies/and/or squad mates. The Engineer class is a support class ship that is best used in a squad to help support squad members, engineers can repair other pilots using repair target tech which is stronger than the normal repair droid, and can give them selves or other pilots shields known as protectors, the protector may not be as durable as a tank class shield but it can be used on others as well, the protector  has a cool down time that is very noticeably shorter than a regular one and also negates stun effects of stun charges or stun domes to the ship within the shield, the engineer's own repair droid also seems to cool down faster as well.

The very last thing in the Vega system on the very last orbital ring of the star in the center is the Vega Star Gate. The only thing this does is once you have the Astrogian Chip of a system you use a star gate to go to any system that you currently are allowed to travel to.

That concludes a detailed listing of the Vega System. If you are going to comment please be respectful to everyone, and I wish all pilots good luck in the following system: The Antares System!
